When you configure a Kiosk from the Dashboard, you expect your changes to be pushed automatically. However, sometimes you will need to restart the Proxyclick iPad app to capture the latest configuration changes you made in the Dashboard Settings. This is because some settings have a huge impact on the way the Kiosk works internally.

Here is an overview of which Kiosk Settings are automatically reflected on the iPad and those that require an app restart:

To activate the latest changes:

  1. Quit the Proxyclick iPad app
    • swipe up from the bottom edge and pause in the center of the screen or double-click the Home button
    • swipe to find the Proxyclick iPad app
    • then swipe up on the app
  2. Restart the Proxyclick iPad app,
    • swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen or click the Home button
    • swipe to find the Proxyclick iPad app
    • then tap the app
